Basics of Building Acoustics
Building acoustics examines the effect that structural conditions have on the spread of sound between areas of a building.
Building acoustics designated task of the ceiling:
- Increasing the airborne sound insulation
- Improvement of sound reduction between adjacent areas
- Reduction of sound from within the ceiling cavity
Sound always has the effect of taking the simplest way to transfer from A to B. It is exactly the reason why its resistance is lowered. The building acoustics must also be taken into account, otherwise in the total picture of the designated task the success of the optimization measures will always be exposed to a certain risk.
